What is BlueRock’s typical investment size?  Our investments generally range from $1 million to $10+ million, depending on the opportunity, capital structure, and stage of the business. We often invest alongside other institutional, strategic, or family office partners. 

What is your investment time horizon? BlueRock typically targets a 24–48 month investment horizon. Holding periods may vary depending on market conditions and company performance, but we prioritize investments with a clearly defined exit strategy from the outset. 

How is BlueRock Capital compensated?  

BlueRock Capital operates under a transparent and aligned fee structure:

• 5% management fee, which supports sourcing, diligence, execution, and ongoing portfolio oversight
• 20% carried interest, earned only upon a successful exit and aligned with investor returns

Importantly, at exit, the 5% management fee is fully paid back to investors, prior to the calculation of carried interest. This structure ensures that investors are made whole on fees  before performance compensation is realized.
